How We Fulfill Our Mission
We help houses of worship and emergency agencies bridge the gap between shared spiritual
values and tangible, operational safety nets by actively engaging with faith-based leaders to:
- Raise Awareness & Proactively Prepare: Facilitate access to training that educates and equips leadership teams to systematically evaluate facility safety, mitigate structural and environmental hazards, and manage perimeter security and medical emergencies with confidence.
- Centralize Expert Resources: Coordinate the delivery of expert consultation, collaborative coaching, and professional resources by providing streamlined summary kits and centralized resources that empower organizations to design actionable Emergency Response Plans and Continuity of Operations Plans.
- Expand Crisis Infrastructure: Provide downloadable guidance tools and frameworks to help local facilities establish the technical capacity, team frameworks, and commitments required to serve as official Emergency Support Centers.
- Build Lasting Community Connections: Cultivate resilient, localized communication networks that connect diverse houses of worship with municipal emergency management, local fire and police departments, and the American Red Cross. By helping build bridges among these groups, we support the frontline agencies and faith leaders who do the direct work of protecting and sheltering the community during a crisis.
