The IPERC On-Boarding Process

Preparedness Meeting

IPERC can arrange for in-person meetings and presentations at your site and invite you to events at other locations.

Contact Us:  An IPERC representative will reach out to talk with you; this will be someone actively involved with emergency response and preparation in or near your town. We'll tell you about IPERC, answer your questions, and learn more about your organization's interests and capabilities.

Meet:  Talk with your IPERC representative, show them around your facility, and discuss how your organization would like to be involved and how we can work together.

Identify your Leadership:  Building preparedness requires engaged and committed leaders, people who will take the lead in creating and implementing plans and rallying member participation.

Make a Plan:  Decide how your organization wants to be involved. Whether you want to focus on internal security for your facility or decide to establish an Emergency Evacuation Shelter, every level of participation makes a contribution to community safety and resilience.

Consider an Emergency Evacuation Shelter:  If your House of Worship has motivated members and the facilities, please consider establishing an Emergency Evacuation Shelter. You will become a key part of the emergency response fabric; IPERC will help with the setup process and your continuing efforts.

Make a Difference:  IPERC relies on the involvement of motivated individuals at the local level. If you want to take an active community-wide role in boosting preparedness and resilience, please contact us about bringing IPERC to your town.
